Sales Tax - European Legislation
VAT (sales tax) will be added to
orders placed from this page. From 1 July 2003, due
to new government legislation, any digital products sold into
the European Union must include a VAT
(sales tax) charge of 17.5%. If your product is being
delivered outside of the European Union you will not be charged
VAT once you have entered your payment and destination
information.
Any physical products sold into the European Union will
include a VAT charge. United Kingdom VAT will be applied in the
shopping basket calculation however the VAT rate, and hence the
total price, may alter once your shipping destination has been
selected.
For customers from the United Kingdom, Ireland, France,
Germany and The Netherlands, the national VAT rate will be
applied. For all other European Union customers, the United
Kingdom VAT rate of 17.5% will be applied. A VAT invoice can be
viewed and printed at the end of your purchase.
If your product is being delivered
outside of the European Union you will not be charged VAT once
you have entered your payment information.
If all this sounds complicated then we apologise. Customers
outside of the European Union should not be affected. Customer
within should be able to reclaim the additional VAT charge
through their businesses in the usual way.
